![]() Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a free PDF reader that lets you open and print PDF documents. It is acting as though it has been infected by a virus, and I'm starting to beleive that is what this supposed update really is. Office Tools downloads - Adobe Reader by Adobe Systems Incorporated and many more programs are available. I even rolled back to a check point before installing it, and nothing changes. This system is completely destroyed in as far as Adobe Reader goes. What an utter mess this has turned out to be. ![]() Same for 9.4, it tells me it's already installed. It shows Adobe reader in my Add/Remove programs, but when I click on remove, windows tells me that it is unable to uninstall the package because it can not be found. Now I am unable to downgrade, or upgrade. Windows: To uninstall your free trial version on a Windows device, close any open Adobe software on your computer, open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Programs and Features.Click on Acrobat Pro, and select Uninstall from the menu. ![]() Even when I double click on it, I get the window with the flashlight as though it is searching, and then windows informs me it can not find any such folder. The folder mentioned above is not accessable. Create, convert, compress, edit, fill, sign, and share files. Of course, the free Adobe Reader X for PDF is downloadable for both platforms Windows (many flavors) and Mac OS (Intel). Do you have access to this location? Have you tried right-clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting 'Run as Administrator"?I am logged on as administrator, and as a second measure, did the above.
